Main Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and BNP Paribas guidelines


• Ensure Management reporting in accordance with BNP Paribas norms


• Ensure Local Accounting Policy in line with CBR requirements, IFRS Accounting Policy in line with IFRS and BNP Paribas Group requirements


• Management & Documentation of Accounting Schemes in line with Accounting Policy


• Implementation of new accounting schemes


• Implementation of Strong Accounting Control Framework in line with Group requirements:

• Ensuring Strong Accounting Reconciliation control in place


• Ensure accounting integrity: RAS, IFRS, Tax


• Ensuring Account Ownership framework implemented and followed in accordance with Group Norms


• Monitoring and Reporting of Sensitive a/cs, aged suspense


• Ensure internal control over financial reporting in place: accounting control plan implementation


• Ensure reconciliation between financial and management reporting in place


• Monitor regulatory changes


• Report accounting risks to management

• Finance Projects

• Drive Finance projects, provide Finance support and expertise to Bank wide projects, new products implementation


• Ensure proper change management controls in place


• Improve automation and minimize manual efforts and accounting/operational risk

• Identifying ways to improve efficiency within Finance Department


• Ensure Finance participation in all system updates, proper change management controls in place


• Coordination of External Audit & External Rating Agency Processes within the Bank

Requirements:

Professional knowledge:

• Knowledge of Russian Accounting Standards and IFRS


• Knowledge of CIB banking products, in particular Capital Markets products


• Professional certification would be a plus

Professional experience:

• 3+ years of experience in international Bank at the positions at the level of Chief Accountant, Deputy Chief Accountant, Financial Controller, Head of Methodology or similar position;


• Experience in Accounting software implementation, set up/improvement of reporting process, development and set up of Internal Control framework or Big4 experience in Banking audit or consulting

Education, trainings: Financial education, Professional certification would be a plus, Project management would be a plus, fluent English
